The problem is that it's assumed that all boys want to be those buff super-heroes and girls are only arm candy and not capable of great things by themselves. Definitely wouldn't get any of our kids something like that.
It's from Target, and I didn't get it, just read an article about it. The issue with these items is that girls are reduced to arm candy, not capable of great things on their own. I know that our girls do not need any guy, super-hero or not, to make them shine, as they are stars on their own :-)
These are pretty funny... I don't like kids wearing things that are dating/sexual/image based though so I wouldn't get these for my little one.
