I Wonder...

Here are a few things today that really made me wonder..

Why do people feel obligated to staple envelopes that say in big bold letters DO NOT STAPLE?

(Source)
Why did I get a soft case just in time for summer shoe sale?
(Source)
Why do people never EVER read instructions before doing stuff, and then are surprised when you give them a summery of what ACTUALLY to do.
Should be must read in my company! (Source)

Why do kids have to go through the 10-year old stage? - And is there a way for my girls to never turn 10? Please????
I'm scared!!  (Source)

Is there anything you really wondered about today?? Please share!

  1. Why can't I switch off my feelings when it is necessary? :-(

    1. That's a good one. But then again, I'm not sure if I'd want that, Joy, because aren't our feelings truly who we are?

    2. Sure. But some days it just hurts so much.

    3. Hugs to you, Joy! You'll get through it, it will shape you, and will emerge stronger on the other side..

  4. I often wonder who was the first person to say, let's drink this stuff that comes from the cow, or who was the first person to invent some of the crazy things we now have... Does that count?

and let me tell you, the 10 year old girl phase is a cake walk compared to the 12 year old girl phase (sorry for being the deliverer of bad news)

    1. This is indeed a good question, followed by: Why do people drink cow's milk without thinking twice but are totally grossed out by human milk... And believe me, if everyone was like me, the wheel would still not have been invented ;-)

Somehow I guessed that passing the 10-stage wouldn'T improve things when a colleague said that tings would not necessarily get better but "different" ;-) Thanks so much for stopping by, Kimbra!

  5. Hahah... my daughter is 9 and a half and it's already begun! People talk about the teenage years, but in girls, the worst comes BEFORE teenage years. With lots of love we will get through it! :-)

  6. Really funny topic. I wonder a lot of things too. Like why I never find my shoe size in the shoe shop. And how I suddenly got so tall, I'm taller than most people now but just few years ago, I was among the shortest ppl in my class.

    1. That is indeed a good question, Bomi! Also: why do those shoes look SO much cuter 4 sizes smaller than in my boat-size?? Enjoy being tall!

  7. Goodness, my little sisters are ten and it's a HEADACHE! I'm not looking forward to my own kids reaching that age.

    1. Hope your sisters outgrow the 10-year old stage, soon! I think I'll try to prevent the 10-year old stage by not celebrating birthdays between age 8 and 12. Will I be good then??
