Folks, I'm spent. We've been walking the neighborhood for an hour an a half, trying to keep six excited girls under control. But it was tons of fun, and after a thorough scrubbing both girls, they fell into their beds and didn't move any more. See why:
Looked like a great Halloween. I had Lily sick today, so Emma went trick-or-treating, but it was kind of a bust for poor Lily. But glad you guys and a great one and loved seeing all the pics, too!! :)
We definitely had a great Halloween. What a bummer that poor Lily i sick. I hope she's feeling better, soon! I remember the first year here when I went out with Lily and Violet had to stay behind to pass out the candy. She was NOT a fan..
I'm about to black out my soldier's face and tie the bow/arrow thing onto the six foot 2 inch tall elven warrior here....lol, Happy Halloween Stephanie! (have I mentioned that I'll be on the front porch passing out candy and drinking wine....)
Looks like you all had a great Halloween. It's always fun to go in a group. Our trick-or-treating was postponed due to major wind and rain. We were fine with it, since it gave us time to finally carve our pumpkins.
It's all about going in a group, Christine! I think it wouldn't be half the fun if it was only the two of them. Hope you all have fun trick-or-treating in nicer weather!!
In most countries in Europe it's not common at all; my blogger friends from England mentioned that as well. Here in Germany it is becoming more and more popular. When I was a kid we didn't even know about Halloween, now you can buy costumes and accessories everywhere. I'm glad about it, one more way to keep their American heritage alive for the girls!

ReplyDeleteWe all sure had a blast. It was sometimes difficult to keep all of the girls in line and contained, but it was SO much fun!
DeleteLooks fun! Is Halloween/trick o treating common in Europe?
